Itinerary
Arrive Delhi (By flight )
Upon arrival at Delhi airport transfer to hotel. No early check-in. Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of Delhi including Lotus Temple, Rickshaw ride in Old Delhi (Jama Masjid, Kinari Bazaar & Spice Market), Connaught Place and Qutub Minar. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Delhi – Leh
AM – Transfer to airport for flight to Leh. After reaching Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Spend the day in the hotel for rest and acclimatization. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh market in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Leh
AM: After breakfast at the hotel start your day.
AM: Visit Spituk Monastery.
Drive to Choglamsar (Tibetan refugee colony) to meet with Shaman Women. Also visit Tibetan settlement and SOC Tibetan Children Village School. Visit Thiksey Monastery. PM: Visit Hemis and then drive back to Leh.
Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Leh – Khardungla (75 Kms/2-3 Hrs) – Hunder (55 Kms/02 Hrs)
After an early breakfast start your day. Drive to Nubra Valley over Khardung la, the highest motor able pass in the world standing a height of 5569 Mts above sea level. Arrive Hunder in Nubra Valley and check into the hotel. Later visit Diskit main monastery. Evening walking tour of Hunder Sand Dunes. Optional – Camel Safari (not included in cost), Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
Nubra Valley
Start your day after breakfast in the morning. Option 01 – Full day excursion to Sumur, Tegger and Panamik Hot Spring. Back to the hotel for Dinner and overnight stay. Option 02 – Full day excursion to Turtuk, the last Indian Village close to the Pakistan border. This Village was under Pakistan control till 1971. It was opened for tourists only in 2010. Back to hotel dinner and overnight stay.
Nubra – Leh – Uleytokpo (195 Kms/6-7 Hrs)
Morning after having breakfast at the hotel, check out and start driving to Uleytokpo. En route visit Likir Gompa. Upon arrival at Uleytokpo, check into a hotel in Uleytokpo. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Uleytokpo
AM: Sightseeing of Alchi and Lamayuru Monasteries. Walk from Lamayuru towards Wanla. Also visit Wanla Gompa (Optional). Back to Uleytokpo for dinner and overnight at hotel. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Uleytokpo – Leh
After breakfast, drive to Leh. En route Rafting in Zanskar River (Optional). Continue to drive to Leh and check into hotel. Meeting with Monk in the evening. Overnight at Hotel in Leh.
Leh – Jammu – Dharamsala
AM – Packed breakfast and transfer to airport. Upon arrival at Jammu airport, drive by Toyota Innova cars to Dharamsala. Arrive at Dharamsala and check into hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Dharamsala
AM – Walking tour to Tushita + Meditation class.
PM – Visit Dalai Lama Temple and Gyuto Monastery. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Dharamsala
AM – Encircle Langkor. Then drive to Naddi and hike to Dharamkot and further down to Bhagsu.
Visit Bhagsu Waterfall.
PM – Visit Kangra State Museum and free time in DharamsalaDinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.
Dharamsala – Amritsar
AM – Packed breakfast from hotel and drive to Amritsar. Arrive at Amritsar and visit Golden Temple.
Then – Drive to hotel and check in. Later after dinner visit Golden Temple for the night ceremony. Overnight at Hotel.
Amritsar – Delhi
After leisurely breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to local Village. Rural Village visit and activities along with lunch. Then transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi, transfer by coach to hotel.
Overnight at Hotel.
Delhi – Onward Destination (By flight )
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. No sightseeing considered. Afternoon in time transfer to airport for flight back to home.
